Air-Britain Jet Airliners of the World 1949-2007
The 8th edition of Jet Airliners of the World 1949-2007 contains details of over 33,000 aircraft (two-volume shrink-wrapped set).
The first volume, consisting of 656 pages, contains the production listings of all jet airliners, including all Soviet types, as well as military transport, reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft, including those which are now out of service.
The second volume, containing 288 pages, includes line number/construction number cross-reference indices for all Boeing, Douglas and McDonnell-Douglas types as well as our unique master index.
The index has a combined total of nearly 75,000 civil registrations and military serials.
The registrations are listed alphabetically by national prefix and the military serials alphabetically by country. Both sections of the index also contain a type code and construction number for each aircraft with currently operational aircraft in bold type.
With a total of 944 pages this edition is 50% larger than the last edition, and includes known allocations as far into the future as 2009.
